Pallet Wide containers are slightly wider, they are mainly used for the transport of goods on Euro pallets.
This difference in size allows 5 or 6 more pallets to be loaded. For example, a 40′ container has capacity for 25 pallets, and the 40′ pallet wide can carry 30 pallets. In the case of a 45′ container it can load 27 pallets and if it is a 45′ pallet wide it supports 33 pallets. A Euro pallet measures 1200mm long and 800mm wide.
